About Qinzhou NiXing Clay

It is resistant to acids and alkalis and is non-toxic. It has a unique airy but impermeable bottom with a natural double stomatal structure, which allows for sufficient oxygen molecules in the vessel and is conducive to long term food storage.

Handmade, the capacity and pattern will be slightly different.

The Formation of Nixing Pottery
The eastern clay is stored in a closed area, while the western clay is taken back and exposed to sunlight for four to six months or more. The western clay is taken back and mixed in a ratio of 4:6 to make a pottery blank. The eastern clay is soft as flesh and the western clay is hard as bone, so that the flesh and bone can support each other.
