Our Rose Mini Tuo Cha is crafted from high-quality Yunnan sun-dried large-leaf tea, processed using the traditional wet-piling (wo dui) fermentation technique, and then skillfully blended with fragrant rose petals .
-
Appearance: Each tuo is a small, dome-shaped nugget, typically weighing about 4–6 grams, and individually wrapped for convenience and freshness . The dark, compressed tea leaves are interspersed with visible rose petals.
-
Aroma: The tea presents a captivating bouquet where the signature earthy, woody, and cocoa-like notes of ripe pu-erh are beautifully complemented by a light, sweet, and refreshing floral scent from the rose .
-
Flavor & Mouthfeel: The brewed liquor is a bright, clear, deep wine-red or mahogany color . The flavor is remarkably smooth, rich, and sweet, with a pleasant silkiness . The earthy, mellow character of the pu-erh is perfectly balanced by the gentle, sweet floral notes of rose, with no bitterness. It leaves a lasting, sweet aftertaste and a soothing feeling in the throat .
🫖 Brewing Guide
One of the greatest advantages of the mini tuo is its convenience. Each nugget is perfectly portioned for a single session.
Important First Step – Rinse: Because of the compressed shape, it is essential to "wake up" the tea. Start by placing one tuo in your vessel and rinsing it briefly with boiling water. Pour this rinse away after a few seconds. This step allows the tight nugget to begin opening up, releasing its full aroma .

🏺 Storage & Aging
Proper storage is key to preserving the delicate rose fragrance and allowing the ripe pu-erh to continue aging gracefully .
-
Environment: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong light .
-
Airflow & Odors: Keep it in a well-ventilated area but protect it from strong odors. Pu-erh easily absorbs smells, so store it away from spices, perfumes, or anything with a potent scent .
-
Packaging: Keep the individual tuo in its original paper wrapper. For additional protection, you can store them in a sealed container or bag to guard against external odors and humidity, while still allowing for minimal air exchange for aging .
-
Shelf Life: When stored correctly, this tea can be enjoyed for many years and may continue to develop deeper, more complex flavors over time
